I am a communications strategist and digital storyteller. Prior to founding Jefferson Park, I executed digital strategies for organizations and campaigns such as NAACP, YWCA USA, Collective PAC, and the Honorable Donna Edwards.

As Jefferson Park's CEO, I bridge my passions for social justice and inclusive marketing with 15 years of experience in digital media campaigns and traditional communications strategy. Currently residing in the DC area,  I am originally from South Central Los Angeles.

I am the co-founder of Black Girl Digital, a community for black women who work in digital careers, and is passionate about addressing the lack of diversity in the digital space. I am an expert in diversity in media, the importance of storytelling in branding and marketing, and the role of narratives in culture and society. I’m a graduate of George Washington University and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. I am also the author of Win the Internet the Remix: an updated guide of social media best practices, which is available now on Amazon.

I am available to speak on the following topics:

  • Diversity in media

  • Social justice

  • The role of storytelling in branding and marketing

  • Music and pop culture commentary

Clips of my guest appearances are available upon request. If you would like to book me, let’s start the conversation by filling out the form below.
